From the power engineering labs of APC comes the S Type Power Conditioner with Battery Backup. Pure sine-wave battery backup, surge protection, isolated noise filtering, and voltage regulation all combine in a single unit to deliver pure, uninterrupted power for high performance AV, home security, and automation systems.

19 inch Rack-Mountable - Supplies redundant AC power to connected equipment. Two AC lines power the unit and if the primary AC power fails, the unit will automatically switch to the alternate power source.

Disconnected battery notification - Warns when a battery is not available to provide backup power.

Temperature-compensated battery charging - Prolongs battery life by regulating the charge voltage according to battery temperature.

Scalable runtime - Allows additional run time to be quickly added as needed.

Rack mountable - Includes horizontal, vertical and toolless-mount capabilities.

Boost and Trim Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) - Eliminates voltage fluctuations as a source of AV signal degradation and component power-supply stress.

Power conditioning - Protects connected loads from surges, spikes, lightning, and other power disturbances.

Isolated filter banks - Eliminates electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) as a source of audio-video signal degradation.

Dataline Surge Protection - Provides protection of connected equipment from power surges on the data lines.
