They have a tempered glass base and adjustable feet in case you have uneven floors. .  They come with both carpet spikes and plastic glides for hardwood or tile floors.  The Mythos Gem stands have built-in wire management by utilizing hollow posts to help hide and manage your speaker wire.   The Definitive Technology Mythos Gem series speakers mount to the stands via an integrated machine screw.
