I already owned a Pro 100 system for my home
theater. I finished my basement and bought some less expensive models as this
was a music only system. Needless to say after several months I bought 4
ProMonitor 1000s. I am now a Definitive only person. In the future I will no
longer waste money on other speakers.

Yep
never heard the music before I purchased these mini monsters. They pop loud and
very very clean even at very low levels they still pop. [I've] been listening to
some of my old jazz - it's like a whole new experence. [I] can't believe what I
have been missing - love em. Movies I can now feel them to these PROMONITOR 1000
really do the job

I'm an audio/home
theater hobbyist and have been for years. I've owned many different setups, but
have always admired DefTech from afar. Recently I picked up a full set of
Procinemas with the 2000 center, and I could not be happier. This was to be a
small family room setup, and I had plans to build a custom theater in the
basement eventually. Now, I honestly don't see the need. With a good subwoofer,
these speakers fill a medium sized room with gorgeous sound. Never too harsh. To
impress friends, I play a bit of the blu-ray dvd "Master and Commander", and I
literally watch as my friends jump and flinch from the realistic sound coming
out of these little speakers. These speakers seem to be loafing along even at
high volumes, while it sounds like my walls are about to fall in. Thats when the
wife gives me that look,,,You know the look. If you audition these speakers at a
store and they dont amaze you, something is probably not set up correctly. Buy
em and try em at home.. you can always return them.....but you won't. I am a
DefTech fan for life. Thank you very much!

was absolutely stunned by the performance "
I purchased one pair of ProCinema 1000's and a
ProCenter 2000 to replace an aging set of Paradigm Studio 80's with a matching
center speaker. Although the Paradigms were more than 10 years old, they did
pack a good punch for both music and movies. Looking at the size of the Def
Tech's, I was very skeptical if these speakers would even come close to the
sound of the Paradigms. After mounting the speakers and running the auto EQ
set-up, it was time to see what these speakers could do tied in with my Def Tech
PF-15 subwoofer. I started by playing one of my favorite CD tracks loaded with
dynamics, and, I was absolutely stunned by the performance of these speakers,
almost unbelievable. They actually sounded clearer than my aging Paradigms, all
the dynamics were there, I was lacking nothing that was noticeable to me. My
listening room is 24' x 12' and these guys filled the room right up with
excellent imaging and detail. I just could not believe the performance coming
from a $440.00 pair of speakers. Def Tech, you certainly did your homework on
these speakers. Thank you!

Holy Toledo!!! This system rocks!!! I went to the
home theater solutions store and compared several speakers. After many visits
and comparing them I noticed that the sound quality could not be beat by other
floorstanding speakers. I purchased ProMonitor 1000 for the left, and right. And
a ProCenter 2000, for the center. For surrounds are the ProMonitor 800. Thought
I would beef up the bass and went witha SuperCube 111. All I can say is Holy
Toledo!!! These speakers sound so much better than the mall cinema we go to
regularly. Usually it's a let down because at home the sound is ten thousand
times better than at the movies. The sound quality is so great it's hard to
believe the sound is coming from a bookshefl speaker. I felt the bass vibrate me
and out of curiosity I turned the sub off and still I was feeling the low bass
frequency hitting me. This system has so much clarity, punch, and grrrrrret
sound that's it's a magical experience. Thank you Def Tech for ROCKING my

I went to the store looking for a new speaker
system to replace a BOSE setup. The salesman introduced me to the Definitive
Technology speakers, all I can say is WOW! I purchased the Promonitor 1000's for
the front, Procenter 1000 for the center, Prosub 1000 for the woofer, and the
Promonitor 800's for the rear. The sound is absolutely amazing! I have a family
room that is open into the kitchen with 10' ceilings and was worried they would
not fill the room. No worries now, the house rattles and even my wife loves it!
You will hear sounds from movies you have never heard before. Also your music
will never sound better! I would definately recommend these awesome speakers to
anyone!

My introduction to Def Tech started when I ran into
an issue streaming music to my Family Room setup which paired a HK 320 with a
set of Infinity Entras. While this setup was decent for movies, I was a little
disappointed with how my music sounded, especially in the mid range area. After
trolling the internet, I came across Def Tech and all of the positive reviews
from their owners. Then I checked the company's prices and found that they were
very affordable. My next step was a trip to the local Best Buy to hear what all
the "fuss" was about. Needless to say, less than 30 minutes later, I'm walking
out the door with two ProMonitor 1000s and a ProCenter 1000. Got these bad boys
home, configured my HK and was instantly transported to a place that I have
never been. I was so amazed at the clarity of my music that I decided to upgrade
the ProCenter 1000 to the 2000. I will never, ever consider buying anything else
except Def Tech and if you are in the hunt for new speakers, end your search
here. Definitive Technology, keep up the great work. You have a customer for
life.
