In this video we will be unboxing the Bowers and Wilkins 802 D4 Floorstanding Speakers. After we open them, we’ll go over some important specs and features. So let’s get right into it.

802 D4 is a very special loudspeaker in its own right, with a thrilling blend of performance and style that other loudspeakers will find hard to emulate. Available in gloss black, white, satin rosenut or walnut, the 802 D4 is perfect for an elegant living room while not compromising on performance. The aerofoil bass cone technology provides an outstanding solution by combining low mass and high stiffness in bass cones. Bowers & Wilkins have also added a foam antiresonance plug for lower distortion and even cleaner bass.

These speakers have a dedicated midrange cone using 3 key components by Bowers & Wilkins technologies:

1. the continuum cone

2. biomimetic suspension

3. midrange decoupling (the latter ensures minimal interference from the operation of the loudspeaker’s bass drivers.)

• The Frequency range goes from 14Hz to 35kHz.
• It’s about 4 feet tall, weighing about 194 pounds.
