Overall happy, good speakers. Volume control on the front would be better than in the rear.
They are a ton better than my laptop and monitor speakers. Well built, good sound.
The instructions say to place speakers at least "20 to 25 cm" (8 to 10 inches) from back wall for adequate bass response ...these are desktop speakers, so that is not always possible with all the crap on my desk. Maybe all speakers say that, although my old ones that blew out after 15 years didn't need that. They were satellite speakers with a sub-woofer though.
My old speakers had a separate volume control with a long cord that I could put anywhere. I didn't realize how much I would miss that. The volume control on these is in the rear, making my transition even more challenging. Sometimes you need to access speaker volume control. Windows volume control does not cut it. Carl
