    Onkyo TX-8220

This is areplacement fora previous Onkyo that was about 25 years old. It is a wonderful machine, easily sliding into the space and connections of its predecessor and yielding clean sound and improved radio. The volume indicatprs have different values, so id you were usedoto listening at around 30,it will be more like 45. WE never used the remote of its predecessor , though we did use the CD changer's. This model really directed us to use the remote. The speaker selection, only on the receiver, is a single small switch that goes from A to B to A&B or a similar path,so some listeners might experience an interruption as the speakers are selected. It is excellent value for the price.
